I stand by that this day, I achieved the best feat of my career, my hobbies and of frankly, the whole species. I got the best cake humanly possible for one the best best people I know. To be fair, you could have given this cake to anyone the age of 25 and it would have been funny, however, for matthew, this just … felt right.

This blog is less than a blog and more of a holding place for all the images I have of that wonderful day. There was not gimic, no wonderful or even spectacular thing that happened … we just enjoyed each others company.

For most of us, we had just started hitting the road with our jobs, our hobbies or had gotten deep into our studies. This meant that hanging out and getting us all in one place was difficult.

So this day was special in ways that lots of things are special, because they do not happen very often. We never get everyone round at someones house so that we can all have a meal and enjoy each others company. It is unheard in out group, but this day, we all made it.

Now of course today was Matthews 25th birthday. The second reason we all had to be together. Along with all the wonderful food that was made by Em and Tyler, there was Matthews Birthday Celebration.

It was a wonderful night. We laughed, we cried a little bit (alot I was emotional shhhh). Then, I got to unvail Matthews cake. My Magnum Opus. My Dune Part 2. My Master Piece. I hold fast that I have never made anything better and I believe I will for all of time.

I will never do anything better. NEVER.

By the end of the night, we had enjoyed a good meal, a good time, and a rather aggressive version of UNO that had us silent for almost 35 minutes. When all was said and done, I had one of the best experiences of my life, and it was the most normal thing in the world. To all my friends:
